Most people’s electricity comes from fossil fuels and nuclear. But through Green Energy Consumers' Green Powered program, your home’s electricity use can be matched with local wind power instead, pushing off the need for fossil fuels on our grid.

If just 50 First Parish families were to choose renewable energy instead of fossil fuels for their electricity, it would be like taking 55 cars off the road this year.

FPL Green has teamed up with Green Energy Consumers Alliance to help you make the switch. Switch today — it’s easy and automatic. Nothing will change about your electricity bill. Each month, Green Energy Consumers will automatically charge your credit card for green power to match your electricity usage.

Since Green Energy Consumers is a non-profit, the amount you pay for green electricity is considered a charitable contribution if you itemize! Green Energy Consumers will send you a receipt in January totaling your annual payments.
