Green Energy Consumers is now purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) from 3 wind turbines owned and operated by the Narragansett Bay Commission. The project is located at Field’s Point Wastewater Treatment Facility in Providence, RI overlooking the beautiful Narraganset Bay. Altogether, the 3 turbines produce about 7,000-megawatt hours of electricity per year - enough to power 1,950 homes!
