Energy Efficient Heating for the Berkshires

Date Thursday, November 19
Time 6:30 pm
Location Online

Many Berkshires residents live in towns without gas connection and are currently heating with delivered fuels like propane or oil, or are running expensive electric resistance baseboards. Heat pumps could be a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution for your home or rental property. With the various incentives available, heat pumps can be more affordable than other options, and income-qualified households may even qualify for no-cost installation!

Join Green Energy Consumers, Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, and Berkshire Community Action Council for a webinar all about heat pumps and other energy efficiency upgrades available through the Mass Save program!

The webinar will present on the following topics:

  • What heat pumps are, how they work, and the benefits they provide
  • How to save energy and money with insulation, air sealing, and more
  • Cost-saving incentives available through Mass Save for homeowners, tenants, and landlords
  • No-cost heat pumps and weatherization for low-income residents, and steep discounts for moderate-income households
