Eversource's & National Grid's New Electric Vehicle Programs

-
Online

Way back in the summer of 2021, the electric utilities in Massachusetts – National Grid, Eversource, and Until – proposed big new electric vehicle programs. In the formal docket that followed at the Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Green Energy Consumers Alliance served as an official “intervenor”, weighing in with our questions and opinions. Now, finally, the DPU has spoken, and we know what has been approved and denied. Join us for this webinar to learn what the DPU decided.

We’ll cover:

  • Make Ready offerings (residential, public/workplace, and fleets)
  • New rebates for electric vehicle charging stations (same segments as above!)
  • Other things that made it in (or didn’t!) and what we think about it all

This webinar will be largely advocacy-focused: we’ll talk about how this order fits in to the larger context of Massachusetts’ requirement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2030. We will hold future webinars to discuss the new program offerings from Eversource and National Grid and how to take advantage of them as a customer of either utility. Stay tuned for those!
