Setting up "My Account"

For donors, Heating Oil Service members, and Green Powered members

Step by step guide to managing your account

What can you do on My Account?

  • Renew your Heating Oil Service membership easily
  • Download your charitable contributions receipt
  • Update your credit card for Green Powered (Eversource East)
  • See your Heating Oil Service dealer's daily prices
  • Change your contact information
  • Check out our other energy programs
  • Make donations toward our mission and more

Log-in or set up your profile at  our“My Account” site.

  1. Click here to go to the Log-in page.
     
  2. Enter your username, which is the email address you have on file with us (where you receive emails from us). If you're not sure of your username, contact us (800-287-3950 x0) or hello@greenenergyconsumers.org. If you've already used My Account and have a password, enter it and log-in! If not, keep reading.
     
  3. Click "Forgot password" and follow prompts to receive your temporary password. You'll get one of two responses:

    "Sorry, that email is not associated with any account in our system" means that we have an old email address associated with your membership. Just call us or email hello@greenenergyconsumers.org with the email address you'd like to associate with your membership.

    OR

    "A temporary password has been sent to your email" means that you should now have in your email inbox a message from Green Energy Consumers Hello@greenenergyconsumers.org with a random string of type that you use to log-in and reset to a real password.
     
  4. With your temporary password, log back in and update your password to one you'd like to keep. We recommend typing the temp password rather than copying and pasting.

Renewing your Heating Oil Service membership

To renew your membership, and simply click on the "Renew Account" button under the Heating Oil tab. Fill out the requested information.

Viewing your oil dealer's prices

Click on "Oil Dealer Prices" tab at the top center of the screen.

Updating your Green Powered payment method

Click the Green Powered tab. Choose the account you'd like to update. On the righthand side of that account, you'll see "Edit card details." You can update the card on that account, or save it for all accounts and donations.
