We have long warned our members against signing up with a competitive retail electricity supplier, unless it's through a Green Municipal Aggregation program. These suppliers exaggerate their environmental benefits and have often cost far more compared to supply provided by municipal aggregations or utility Basic Service.
Please join us, the Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, the City of Boston Office of Environment, Energy, and Open Space, and several non-profit advocacy organizations for a briefing on how third-party electric suppliers harm Massachusetts residents, why the industry is past the point of reform, and how you can help support efforts to protect residential consumers in Massachusetts.

Participants:

  • The Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs
  • The Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General
  • The City of Boston Office of Environment, Energy, and Open Space
  • Green Energy Consumers Alliance
  • GreenRoots
  • National Consumer Law Center
