Charlemont’s 900 kW turbine is 277 feet tall and a unique addition to the Berkshire East Ski Resort. This family-owned mountain resort was struggling to pay the electric bills from snow-making. That's when they embarked on a wind project, and later a solar farm. Electron sales from both projects have made a significant financial difference for our favorite ski resort!
