Pawtucket

The Pawtucket hydro project is a run-of-river facility located at the mouth of the Blackstone River, one of the largest tributaries draining to Narragansett Bay. Today the project operates two 1.9 meter full Kaplan turbines with total installed capacity of 1,300 kWs and average annual generation of 4,000 MW.
