Stockbridge

As part of the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s (MassCEC) effort to help upgrade existing hydropower projects across the state, Littleville Power Co. was awarded a $600,000 grant to help build the all new Stockbridge Hydro facility. This project is expected to add 22% more energy to the region's power grid. That’s 1.4 million kilowatts of electricity, up from the 1.1 million kilowatts currently produced from the existing century-old hydropower plant in that area.
